Navideo

Navideo is a multi purpose application for your PDA and PC that combines navigation with mobile communication. Exchange your GPS location with others by clicking just one button! Send SOS messages including your exact position for emergency assistance! Display incoming positions or set them as a target for navigation! Run Navideo either in standalone mode or in conjunction with additional navigation software such as TomTom Navigator! Save your position or track your journey and display it later on a map in Google Maps/Earth or Microsoft Autoroute! Years of travel fit on your PDA!

GPS2SMS

GPS2SMS is a program for sending GPS positions as SMS messages via a mobile phone. Just connect a GPS (NMEA output) and a Siemens (serial) or Nokia (serial or IrP or USB) mobile phone to a laptop PC and you are ready to send.

The program receives NMEA sentences from the GPS and passes them on to OziExplorer. The program can send positions as SMS at regular intevals (5, 15, 60 or 180 minutes) or send by clicking the “SEND” button. Tested with Siemens S45 and Nokia 6310i (InfraRed and Serial connections).
